At any rate, I'm back!
Might as well give you the full run-down.
1.) I'm in college- yay!
2.) I'm in college- no, not more homework!
3.) I'm voice acting. Check me out on youube sometime (crossblades08)
4.) I've begun several new writing ventures and am in the process of narrowing them down to one project to focus on.
5.) I'm going to actually start posting stuff. Why now? Well, I think you can thank voice acting for that. I need to write plays and stories to read and act; so, why not post them for people to enjoy audibly and in its original text form.
6.) I still suck at drawing.
7.) I still am an editor and would like to help you with your writing endeavors.
8.) I'm now open to collaborative writing and witting commissions (go figure).
9.) I've shifted my focus almost entirely on longer works of fiction.
On to recent times:
I've been on a creative high for the past month, and now all of you are going to reap the benefits.
I'm currently working on a story right now with the working title, "Second Star to the Right" (abbreviated SSTR). Cheesy name? WRONG!- actually, the title itself is a clue to one of the key mysteries of the story.
SSTR is a science fiction piece which takes place after Earth was abandoned by humanity. It takes place on mankind's new home world, Eden, and follows the character of Sven.
Sven once had everything: a loving wife, and a daughter about to be betrothed, but everything changed once the wars began. His wife was drafted into the military for her skill with advanced prosthetics (called metal grafts) and killed in an enemy raid. Shortly after, his daughter succumbed to illness. Sven searches for meaning in his life by reenlisting in the military, but soon his reckless decisions land him in an enemy POW camp, but little does he realize that his journey has yet to truly begin. Come along to uncover the mysteries of humanity's dark past and the secrets it's hidden in this new world in "Second Star to the Right."
I really should write movie commercials.
Anyway, stick around. The first chapter may soon be coming your way.
